Come and experience a private campsite on a small hobby farm in the Shuswap. Chickens, Turkeys, Geese, Ducks and Peacocks roam the property. Approximately 1/3 acre fenced complete with a bath house and hot shower. Hook ups for your RV are available for water, sewer and 50amp power. Laundry is also available. We are a short drive away from beaches and boat launches. Shuswap marina is a 5 min drive. Hiking trails are all over the area. 20 minutes to Salmon Arm and 45 minutes to Kamloops. Farm fresh eggs are available for purchase right at your doorstep as well as seasonal fruit and vegetables.Experience a little piece of hobby farming in the Shuswap. Fresh eggs available from free range chickens. Peacocks Turkeys and Geese roam freely around the farm. Private fenced campsite with full bath house, including hot shower and laundry. Smoker available for cooking, requires a propane tank and bring your own smoking chips. Located across the road from Shuswap lake. Marinas and beaches super close by with lots of hiking/biking in the area. We are a 20 minute drive from Salmon Arm and a 45 minute drive from Kamloops. Contact us for group pricing. First Guest!

My wife and I were the first paying guests at The Thirsty Farmer. It’s also the first time we’ve used Hipcamp. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Wes was a great host and the facilities were top notch. Set on a farm in Blind Bay there were chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys and peacocks. The site itself is a fenced area about 1/2 acre where we let our two dogs run freely. No leashes required. There are hookups for the RV but you don’t really need to use them because there is a full washroom/shower/laundry. Also a giant fire pit and you can buy fresh eggs. We will definitely be staying here again!
