Big Sky Camp is on 23 acres of mixed fields and woods, which overlooks a valley with beautiful sunsets. The campsite is tucked away a half mile from the main road via a drivable trail perfect if you want to unplug from your busy schedule. The campsite includes a fire pit with removal iron grill, picnic table, storage shed with yard games and lawn chairs, a horse shoe pit, newly remodeled outhouse, and new for 2022 access to a hot outdoor shower stall. First night includes free wood. Hiking trails are nearby. The nearby town of Arcade offers a steam engine excursion, restaurants, and shops. Letchworth State Park and Knox Farm State Park are within a thirty minute drive. Our campsite is very quiet and secluded. Big Sky Camp

Hipcamp Done Right!

We loved Big Sky camping! Upon arrival, Michael gave us a warm greeting, and a jar of his Big Sky maple syrup (delicious!) We made our way to camp and were immediately greeted by a nearby barred owl. The site is private and overlooks sprawling grass and wildflower fields, with woods surrounding—which create a small oasis nestled within the picturesque countryside. We fell asleep to distant coyotes, and woke to birdsong—what a dream! There is a mile or so of walking trails all through the property that took us through some wildflowers and woods and along the field’s borders, an easy and peaceful way to start the day. The outhouse is awesome, and the shed by camp had extra chairs, which was clutch as we forgot ours back home. This is a beautiful property with incredible views and a great place to escape to the sounds of nature, an open sky, and a kind, welcoming host. Will definitely stay again!

A lovely spot indeed

We love this beautiful spot! Terrific host who even delivered fresh flowers, maple syrup, & goodies from the garden. We enjoyed the location privacy & our dogs loved being able to run off-leash. We will definitely return if we make it back through Arcade.

Wry friendly and helpful host. We actually stayed the next night at a campsite he recommended in our conversatio BEAUTIFUL camp spot. So many stars and so quiet as we enjoyed a campfire together as a family. Truly a treasure we enjoyed.

Dog friendly heaven

Michael is such a sweetheart and his land and facilities are fantastic - you have the whole space to yourself with tons of privacy and all the lawn games to keep you busy! You will be greeted with some complimentary homemade maple syrup which is divine and be sure to check out the Amish farmstall nearby as well. Thank you Michael for sharing your piece of heaven with us!

Secluded stay with great views!

Mike was great and made a lot of great suggestions of things to do in the area. The land is well maintained and secluded which was exactly what we wanted. Will definitely be back again! P.s. There’s even a shower!
