Once an historic granary, this building and property was converted for use as a family home and organic homestead. We raise poultry for meat and eggs and have a large raised bed system of vegetables and bramble fruits for preserving. Quiet spots with nearby parking make this a unique camping experience. Picnic table and small fire ring for campfires. Catch some fireflies and gaze at the stars without city lights....it's time to relax! Learn more about this land: Park your camper or RV in one of the private garden areas amid organically raised berries, vegetables, laying hens and other farm occupants! Each roomy campsite has a picnic table and small fire ring. Organic eggs for breakfast when available (the hens decide!). Our farm began as a granary in 1875, and in 1984 we began to renovate it into a home and sustenance farm. Close to Point Breeze and sport fishing on Lake Ontario, canoe and boat rentals on Oak Orchard River, antique shops, farmer's markets and the Erie Canal. Less than 1 hour to Niagara Falls!Park your camper or RV in one of the private lawn/garden areas amid organically raised berries, vegetables, laying hens and other farm occupants! RV's will park on packed gravel adjacent to garden areas, tent and small trailers will be in back in space on hard packed lawn. Stonebird Farm Camp RV 1
beautiful home, nice flat yard and nice gardens—easy to set up tent, but watch out for dog poop in the yard. Heather was friendly and came out to meet us when we arrived, but did not mention where toilet was/how to access it or the wifi, nor where to find spigot for water. we forgot to ask, but didn’t see her again. she did show us where to find firewood. there was also no picnic table as mentioned in the description. no big deal, but not entirely what we were expecting. otherwise easy to find and an enjoyable stay.

Stonebird Farm Camp RV 1
Amazing host, kid friendly
Our first time using Hipcamp and it was perfect. My two girls and I had planned to camp in Ontario but due to covid border lockdown we couldn’t. We had been camping for a month around the Great Lakes and wanted to be close to Lake Ontario and found Heathers place. Couldn’t of been happier, my 8 year old said it was the best place we stayed the whole trip. I asked my 6 year old if she liked it there and she corrected me and said she loved it not liked it.

Stonebird Farm Camp RV 1
The site was relatively private along the garden beds of the host’s home. The host was very friendly and communicative. As a camping site for a tent the ground in the yard was pretty compacted and a bit harder than a few other places we camped on our trip. We drove an extra 45 minutes to camp on a farm in the Buffalo area. The site had a bit more debris in the surrounding environment than had hoped given the selected pictures.
Location
Kent, Orleans, New York, United StatesTraditional, ancestral territory of Ho-de-no-sau-nee-ga (Haudenosaunee), Onöndowa’ga:’ (Seneca), and Wenrohronon First Nations according to To respect the Host's privacy, the precise address of this land will be provided after booking
