Welcome to Avonmore Oasis Camping a 63-acre farm located only 45 minutes from Ottawa! Avonmore Oasis Camping is away from everything yet close to many amazing restaurants that will deliver right to your campsite! we will be open from April 11 to the 15 for the Raisin River Canoe race booking is now open The nearest shops are only minutes away for all your camping needs! The famous St Albert's Cheese factory is only 15 minutes away, a must-see! Choose from 15 private sites all near to a beautiful spring-fed swimming hole that's 200 feet wide and 17 feet deep. Along with the swimming hole, you will have access to fit pits, an outhouse, and picnic tables. Pets are welcome and you may get the opportunity to meet the resident farm animals. This is a spot for everyone, from solo campers to families, there is something for everyone so grab your friends and come camp with us. we also also place for people traveling with horses to set up and let horses out and relax. We also have a auto shop on property just incase campers need assistance with there vehicles.Come camp on our 63-acre farm located only 45 minutes from Ottawa! Avonmore Oasis Camping

Great spot

Great spot— lots of nice features and ways to enjoy the land and environment! I even got a spot that had been cleared out by the edge of the forest to be able to set up my hammock which was lovely. Kirk was very helpful and generous with his time. Firewood was a great deal. Very atmospheric to enjoy the cows mooing at the end of the day— and as charming as it was to hear the bullfrogs in the swimming hole throughout my stay, I was happy to have my earplugs to pop in to sleep :) I would definitely recommend this spot— a comfortable and charming place to pitch your tent!

Avonmore Oasis Camping

I loved tent camping here and had a fantastic weekend. The host was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The campsite features a large pond for swimming, which was perfect for cooling off on hot days. There are also a few farm animals, including chickens and cows, which. The site is well-maintained and offers plenty of space for tents, making it a peaceful and enjoyable experience. Overall, it was a memorable stay, and I highly recommend this campsite to anyone looking for a relaxing outdoor adventure.

Avonmore Oasis Camping

Nice first ON camping experience

We had a blast camping at Kirk’s property. We met a nice camper Chris and his family, Kirk’s dogs, we had fire and played a game. All facilities are working perfectly, toilet is clean, there are kayaks to use and fire pit to enjoy. Kirk can deliver food if we feel lazy to cook (we did hahah). It is also closed to everything and it has phone reception so it is a good place to try camping just to escape apartment/city. Very recommended!

Avonmore Oasis Camping

Kirk is a great host!

My dog Ziggy, a city pup, had fun doing zoomies in the wide open field between my site and the pond. He did a lot of off leash exploring and disappeared in the trees a few times because there were birdies, butterflies and various flying insects to chase. He got to meet some beef cattle, heard a rooster crow and we heard there are chickens and bunnies. I enjoyed the privacy of the trees and shade they provided during my very hot stay! Temps in the 30°'s every day! But the pond was cool and refreshing and Kirk was very helpful, providing help with both setting up and taking down my tent. The porta-potties were clean, the showers were cool and oh, did I mention Kirk had ice cream at the canteen? WOW! I highly recommend the blueberry cheesecake flavor. Kirk is a great host, taught me a lot on my first ever solo camping adventure (71 Female) and I highly recommend Avonmore Oasis for newbies and seasoned campers.

Avonmore Oasis Camping

My wife and I recently had a great time camping at this location! The place is truly amazing, with a beautiful pond that adds a touch of serenity to the surroundings. What made our stay even more memorable was our host, Kirk. He was fantastic, going above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. His warm hospitality and attention to detail made us feel right at home. We had such a wonderful time that we are already planning our return trip. If you're looking for an amazing camping experience, we highly recommend this place!

Avonmore Oasis Camping

We loved camping here! Kirk has a great property, the swimming hole is perfect for a hot day, the camp sites are spread out enough you have privacy but it’s nice to chat around the water! Kirk is a great host, the prices for firewood are competitive, he has a food truck with great prices too so you don’t have to drive out to eat. I recommend this for anyone looking for a relaxing trip!
