Nest Hill
Nest Hill
The Nest Hill site is a great site for 1 or 2 tents. It’s flat, clean and no rocks. The outhouse is a porta potty over a small pit and is amazingly clean.
You can slightly see the lake through the trees and there is a moderately steep narrow path down to the lake. I put in my canoe in the water at the beach and paddled back to the site, then left it on the site’s shore, where I could easily access it.
It is located deep in a bay full of beautiful water lilies, so it’s better to go swimming at the beach where the water and lake bottom are very clean. It’s only a 5min walk.
The lake is beautiful and perfect for swimming, canoe, SUP and fishing. Lots of fishes.

Bass Bay
Great view! 10/10
The Bass bay site is a great site with a beautiful waterfront view, with access to the water. The site was clean and has a perfect amount of space for 3-5 tents depending on the size. The only thing I would change is there being more signage marking the sites by name or colours which match the map. Although if you’re confused on if you’re on the right site, the name is on the toilet 💩, which was very clean. We will definitely be going back 😊

Bass Bay

Beautiful, private to camp! Smaller lake but great for paddle boarding, fishing and canoeing. Great host, allowed us to switch site to one that better suited the group. Would go back and recommend to others. Small note there it's much cell service.

Beach Side
Ball Lake - Highly Recommended
Kelly was an excellent host. She came around to make sure we were all good and sent a nice message prior to our first night. The whole campground is very well maintained and easy to locate.
The location Ball Lake was georgous and the perfect size lake. The site we booked was waterfront but I think all the sites are really close to the water. The beach was clean and easy to get in the water.
I SUP boarded the whole lake and my friends floated in inflatable boats. They also caught lots of bass and perch. (catch and release)
Each site has its own outhouse which was clean and stocked with toilet paper and right near the site for easy access. They also have wood on your way in and the Denbigh store is 10 minutes away with everything else you need for food, lcbo and other supplies.
I highly recommend this campground. This was my first time booking with Hipcamp app and I couldn't be happier with the results. Also Kelly mentioned she's going to have another location in the future with Hipcamp which I'm excited to see.

Turtle Bay
Turtle Bay Site
This Hipcamp property is amazing!
We were there for 3 days at Turtle Bay. It was so serene. Very quiet. A great place to disconnect 😉Pretty sunsets. Loons calling. Great paddling. We wanted to hike but the deer flies had other plans. Next time!
The campsite had an incredible view. The outhouse was clean. The fire pit was excellent. The grates were a nice touch. We cooked over the fire for every meal.
We didn’t want to leave!
We will definitely be back!
