North East Pasture Line
Over all was a great experience, The host is very communicative and mindful. The property is beautiful and very scenic, feels very removed from the rest of the world minus the odd car noises coming from the roads nearby. I do wish I had known before booking that they charge $10 extra per person beyond 2 people. Which I was okay with until I found out it's not extra per person per booking, but per night total. $30 extra I can stomach, $90 is a grocery run or an extra 2 nights elsewhere. I do also wish I had known that the path leading to the campsite is quite ruddy and filled with rocks and holes. I got my sedan thru there but only just barely, and had to take it incredibly slow. Going forward I would recommend crossovers, 4X4s and trucks only for those pasture sites for sake of fellow campers poor cars. But I would stay again at this location if it were just my partner and I, and had a different vehicle better suited for offroading. Over all a pleasant stay and beautiful property.

Peaceful night under the stars
Private and relaxing location. I liked the simplicity of the spot. The grass was cut short and a great border of tall grass surrounding, that was a great barrier for my dogs.
Hosts were very accommodating and friendly.
Caution to vehicles with low clearance on the entrance to the spot. The hosts plan to improve the entrance, which is a great idea!

Perfect quiet getaway
We had a wonderful stay at Down In The Valley. The spot was outstanding. Super private, very quiet, and in a stunning location. The hosts were amazing. They left us some wood and a handwritten welcome note with a listing of local attractions. We have stayed at many HipCamp spots before and this one is now our #1 destination. We cant wait to come back!
