The Eco Glamping Cabin (ECG) is for Glamorous camping, AND IT INCLUDES AIR CONDITIONING!
The EGC has an outdoor kitchen with an air fryer oven and a stove with two induction burners plus a fridge to help you have simple control over your meal plans when it is sunny or raining. The outdoor kitchen is supplied with electricity for all of the appliances.
Or use the shared propane BBQ or "campfire pit with a grill" to cook your meals.
In the Green Man Garden, you can learn and teach organic practices and hand-harvest the culinary herbs we grow to add to your meals.
You relax in the shared five-person Hot Tub we keep at 38C.
The Big-screen TV uses WIFI, and so can you.
Bring a canoe or boat to take a voyage up and down the pristine Irish Creek. You can book our rowboat if you sign a waiver to absolve us from any risks.
The Rideau Canal system and the Railway Museum are minutes away. Tripadvisor webpages can provide "near me" tourist attractions and places to buy the food you will prepare in the outdoor kitchen or on the BBQ.

The Irish Creek dock calls you to be one with Nature's bounties.A glamping trip blends outdoor adventures and luxurious aspects that we all wish for. The Eco-Glamping Cabin (EGC) offers a peaceful and stress-free trip while connecting with nature in a way you cannot get at a hotel. The electrical panel provides plugs to operate the coffee and tea station and Big Screen TV with available WIFI. The kitchen sink has inline heated water from the house, and the same source provides water for an outside shower tent beside the hot tub and the outdoor composting toilet. The cold water is potable with the benefits of a UV treatment system. A double-sized bed is in a small room with bunk beds to sleep four people and includes a large storage cabinet for your clothing and accessories. The Irish Creek Retreat Eco-Glamping Cabin (EGC) is insulated with rock wool and uses 100-year-old repurposed barn boards for the interior wall panels. All barn boards have been pressure washed on all sides to remove 100 years of dust. The flooring in the bedroom is also repurposed hardwood flooring from Logs End flooring In Stitsville, Ontario, where the flooring started as submerged logs from rivers, lakes and streams that were roadways during the logging era. The carbon footprint is very low and part of our Eco plan. The fire pit with outdoor furniture is 16 feet away from the EGC. The wildlife, flowers, plants, trees and garden are numerous and change with the seasons. The dock on the Irish Creek is 100 ft. from the fire pit. All outdoor assets are "in the commons" and are available to the Irish Creek Retreat Hosts and the EGC vacation rental visitors. We cannot control the weather, but we can manage the setting when it is nice to be outside in nature. We offer our garden to you to harvest what you need to add to the meals you can create.
