Everhill Farm is a century-old farm owned by the fifth generation of Harrison’s. This picturesque river property only a mile from Harriston is fantastic for the naturalist who loves the outdoors and hiking! Lovely maintained walking and biking trails on our property that we share with the local communities Greenway Trail system. Very close to many local businesses with the highlight of walking for ice cream or burgers'n fries at the Red Caboose! After one stay you will be planning on another to experience all the unique camping sites! :) Campers can choose from six sites directly on the river, there are currently two rustic-looking outhouses on-site with another planned. Campfires are permitted within local regulations and pets are welcome! Please be respectful of the property and other campers, alcohol is permitted, although glass bottles are discouraged Music is appreciated! Please packout all garbage and leave the campsite the same or better as found. We look forward to hosting you!

The Riverbank
Fall camping with friends!
This is a visually beautiful and peaceful location. There are several sites along the stream and we stayed in the first one (the meadow?). Most of the sites have their own outhouse (ours even had motion activated solar lights) but bring your own toilet paper. Most also have a picnic table and some even have nice benches around the fire pit and extra tables. We pitched our tent under a large tree but be careful because some of the branches are dead - a smaller one fell on our screen dining tent but fortunately, no harm was done. The treed location also meant that our site was a bit damper during the rain and it took more time for the tents to dry. The owner’s son was very nice and helpful to us. I really liked the info he had to share about foraging for mushrooms and the trails nearby. The wood we bought was so generous we did not get through it all. Notes: the sites are very near the highway though you cannot see it. You will hear noise from cars and especially trucks as well as noise from the water treatment facility on the other side of the field. I’m a light sleeper and found it disturbed my sleep at night but it was okay during the day. If you are looking for serenity in sound as well as looks, be prepared with some earplugs to use at night. Also, please show respect for the family and the land and leave your site as you found it or better. The people before us left debris and food, including chicken bones which were a hazard to my dog.

The Riverbend
Great spot!
Thoroughly enjoyed our return trip to the Riverbend. My dog spent all day in the water and came home pooped. Several other campers, but our spot still felt private.

The Pasture, Spot 2
This was a nice spot. In the future I would probably select another spot that is a little more private but I still enjoyed the spot I had. There were groups camped on either side of me, but they weren't loud or disruptive so it was fine. If you have a large group you are going to be camping with, them the pasture sites are perfect for this. Josh was an excellent host, and he did a great job of making everyone felt welcome as well as making sure everything is well maintained.

The Hideaway
My boyfriend and I decided to try out Hipcamp and chose to stay on Josh's property. It turned out to be the best camping trip we have been on together. Josh and his boys were very accommodating and and we had a great experience. We will for sure be booking with him again.

The Hideaway
Idyllic setting by the creek
The Riverbend is a wonderful site. Mature trees for shade, a creek for cooling off, a picnic table and firepit. Level Areas for tenting or a RV. The Host Josh is welcoming and very helpful to campers. Communicating was quick and reliable. Unexpectedly there was quite a bit of road noise until at least 8:30 pm which surprised me because Harriston has always seemed to be a quiet little town. Perhaps playing music might remedy this situation. Thank you Josh for all your help.
