Our land is 25 Acres of pristine old growth forest in the Canadian Shield. The terrain is quite varied and makes for a beautiful mix of Trees, Granite and Sand. Many pine trees are so large, you cannot wrap your arms around them. The majestic tree canopy is almost 100' tall. There are several trails throughout the property with streams, rock ridges, marshes and ponds.Get Lost in Nature - drive in 200' off a dead end road. You'll find a private campsite with a 26' camper trailer that sleeps a maximum of 6 and plenty of room to pitch a tent. The site has a fire pit and picnic table but the sand pit is what 'makes' the space! We have hosted challenges to scale the bank, played beach volleyball and archery target! Perfect for a bit of fun before heading to the Waterfall (just 3 km down the road) to cool off at the end of the day! *Campers need to bring their own bedding (pillows/sheets/blankets etc) *The camper trailer has a working stovetop *The camper trailer is dry and does not have a working water system *The fridge/freezer is not working reliably - bring your own cooler(s) *The toilet is available but you must flush it manually with water from jugs *Two designated parking spaces. Also enjoy hiking the Canadian Shield and exploring the nearby Skootamata River. We encourage guests to unplug and reconnect with nature and one another, however we do have cell service for emergencies.

The Sandpit
Un bon moment au sandpit!
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au Sand Pit. L'emplacement est idéal : très calme et intimiste, ce qui permet de vraiment se déconnecter et profiter de la nature. Le lieu est propre et bien entretenu, ce qui ajoute au confort du séjour. Le site est facile à trouver en suivant les indications fournies par Brian. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la tranquillité de l'endroit, loin de toute agitation, et l'accès facile aux places de parking. Le fait de pouvoir ramasser du bois pour le feu directement sur le site est un plus appréciable, permettant de profiter d'une soirée autour du feu sans aucun souci. Brian, notre hôte, a été très réactif et ses instructions étaient claires, ce qui a rendu notre arrivée sans tracas.

Serene Pineridge Tent Site
Tent campsite
Our stay was amazing , the two dogs we had with us loved it as well in fact they did not want to come home . I think that pretty much says it all . Strongly recommend that place and will go back there in the future . Thank you Brian so much .

The Sandpit
Brian's trailer at the Sandpit was exactly the quiet, no frills night I was looking for. Brian was very responsive wherever I needed something and kept me well informed about any details.
