This is an off grid campsite with a gravel driveway, flush-toilet outhouse, screened 8x8 frame gazebo, screened hammock, bbq (with propane), canoe, kayak and gear, and a stone firepit. Comes with the use of fishing rods, guitar, books and games, and the natural setting affords views of various wildlife. Atvs are welcome on the road, and this is a great access point for many trails and lakes in the vicinity. There is ample level ground on site for tents, and reasonably sized RV's. The campsite is a set on a large pond fed by the Black River, and is great for kayaking/canoeing. Campers are welcome to hike the waterfront trail or others within the 56 acre property, just down the road is the Black river bridge and put in for the designated paddling route (rapids downstream, stillwater upstream). This is a unique landscape, nestled between Mt. Moriah , the Elzevir pluton complex and the Black River in an ultramafic zone, with coloured quartz veins and pillowed granite outcroppings. Various lakes and trails are accessible by human power or with off road vehicles. Cell phone signal is limited, my home is equipped with a booster available for emergencies 24/7.Waterfront site has ample room, gravel driveway and manicured grass, set on a slow section of the Black river an hour north of Belleville, ON, and includes use of: Canoe/gear, Kayak/gear, fishing rods/tackle, BBQ/propane, 3 person pop-up tent, guitar, games and books, screened gazebo and hammock, flush toilet, chairs and firepit 56 acres of forested trails, creeks and the Black river Numerous wildlife and unique flora and geology, foragers and rockhounds welcome to collect (at own risk)

Everyone should try!
Great place! Host is the best! You literally have everything included to the staycation. Chairs, tons of different table games, even 1 extra tent! The location is great, nice views. Would definitely come back!

10 out of 10! definitely recommend!
I loved camping on Daric's property. If you are a first time camper or just forgetful there is nothing that he didn't think of. We came well equipped with everything but honestly if you only came with your food, water, clothing and sleeping bag you would be fine. The weather was great and the stary nights were amazing. If you haven't booked here yet you are missing out! I can't wait to book my next stay here ❤️

Favorite Spot after trying many
This is now our favorite campsite by far. It's is so well equipped, BBQ, Firepit dining tents with chairs, Flush toilet, Canoe & Kayak, fishing equipment, and more. The site is well kept with lots of room and even had tie outs for the dogs. The dogs had a blast running around off leash. The trails are great for exploring. It is so quiet and peaceful, its just you and nature. The road in is fun to drive, but go slow and stay in the middle... The site entrance is well marked with a Hemlock Point sign. My wife tried kayaking for the first time and loved it. It's a large pond to explore by canoe or kayak. Daric has created a beautiful spot for camping and provided so many amenities to make your stay a pleasure. We met a curious Otter who hung around checking us out, the dogs were amazed. And a baby Otter had a peek at us and was gone. We will be back again!

Waterfront Camping
If you’re looking for a well equipped campsite with lots of things to do this is for you! We had a great stay at Hemlock, hiking trails that surround the pond that lead to a trail that goes down to Black River. Secluded location allows for good privacy, the stars on a clear night are top notch. Only a 20 minute drive from Madoc if you need to go to town for any reason! Overall we had an amazing weekend and Recommend this campsite to anyone who is looking for a great place to camp.
