This is an off grid campsite with a plowed gravel driveway, flush-toilet outhouse, covered gazebo, BBQ (with propane), ice fishing gear, books toys and games, chairs, firepits, etc. Atvs are welcome on the road, and this is a great access point for many trails and lakes in the vicinity. There is ample level ground on site for tents, and reasonably sized RV's. The campsite is a set on a large pond fed by the Black River, and is great for kayaking/canoeing. Campers are welcome to hike the marked waterfront trail or others within the 56 acre property, just down the road is the Black river bridge and put in for the designated paddling . This is a unique landscape, nestled between Mt. Moriah , the Elzevir pluton complex and the Black River in an ultramafic zone, with coloured quartz veins and pillowed granite outcroppings. Various lakes and trails are accessible by human power or with off road vehicles. Cell phone signal is limited, my home is equipped with a booster available for emergencies 24/7.Waterfront site has ample room, plowed gravel driveway, set on a slow section of the Black river an hour north of Belleville, ON, and includes use of: Ice auger, fishing rods/tackle, BBQ/propane, 3 person pop-up tent,games and books, covered gazebo with couch, flush toilet, chairs and firepit, dartboard 56 acres of forested trails, creeks and the Black river Numerous wildlife and unique flora and geology, foragers and rockhounds welcome to collect (at own risk)

Unforgettable Wilderness
Here’s a refined version: Daric is an incredibly hospitable host who goes above and beyond to ensure guests enjoy his beautiful property. I highly recommend a visit! I look forward to returning in the near future and hopefully bringing more friends to further explore this vast, yet thoughtfully preserved wilderness.

Great spot, Daric is a great dude. Has everything you could need, especially if you forget a few things. Had a great time hunting his property, my buddy shit his first deer. I definitely recommend this place.

Daric, is a great dude, very friendly and accommodating. The campsite was great, basically has everything you need, to enjoy the outdoors. We hunted the property and my buddy harvested his first deer, thanks again to Daric for use of his beautiful property.

Everyone should try!
Great place! Host is the best! You literally have everything included to the staycation. Chairs, tons of different table games, even 1 extra tent! The location is great, nice views. Would definitely come back!

I loved camping on Daric's property. If you are a first time camper or just forgetful there is nothing that he didn't think of. We came well equipped with everything but honestly if you only came with your food, water, clothing and sleeping bag you would be fine. The weather was great and the stary nights were amazing. If you haven't booked here yet you are missing out! I can't wait to book my next stay here ❤️
