Honey Of A Cabin
Sweet off-grid cabin life!
We felt extremely lucky to be the first campers at the ‘Honey of a Cabin’! The cabin is pristine, and located a nice little distance in from the road, creating a lovely private oasis. Nelia was very communicative leading up to and during our stay, and everything was exactly as advertised. We were super lucky to stay during some very summery end-of-September weather, and we spent most of our time outside cooking and enjoying the firepit, morning, noon, and night. A huge selling feature for us was that our dog was welcomed and allowed to roam off leash, and she so enjoyed exploring and chasing squirrels and chipmunks while we relaxed. The propane bbq worked great and was a nice perk, and it was nice to have a folding table and chairs to use as well. Make sure you bring some dishes and pots and pans, there is a sink inside to use for washing up. The nighttime ambiance was delightful with some solar lights that came on at dusk as well as a charming strand of string lights. The futon bed was more comfortable than expected, and it was very peaceful falling asleep listening to the sound of crickets. The road is close enough that traffic is definitely noticeable, but it more or less tapered off come nightfall. This cabin is everything you could want for an off-grid experience. Highly recommend and good chance we’ll be back!
