Site 1 - Overnight Parking
Rechelle was a great host! She met us on arrival. The spots by the road are great for an overnight when traveling. The spots by the beach are amazing. Wonderful views lots of birds and wildlife. I could have sat in my chair enjoying the breeze off the lake for days! Hope to get back sometime.

Private Beach Tent Camping
We ended up getting a refund but we want to just give folks a heads up to a few things we wish we had known:
- host was not there when we arrived. We tried to call a bunch but there is NO CELL SERVICE. Worth stressing. She was called into work (totally fair!! She seemed lovely!) but there was nobody there to meet us or get us to our site.
- Couldn’t access the ATV which was promised - the ATV actually doesn’t even reach the campsite that we would have had to camp on.
- The closest unoccupied site had a broken down tent just laying there along with branch debris.
- Other campers said they had a hard time reaching host to get stuff like more firewood.
- aggressive dogs on-site when we tried to knock on the house’s door to find someone.
All in all, we had an unsafe feeling about the place and drove 3 hours back home rather than stay.

Lovely!
It was a great experience, the family was super friendly and helped us set up the tent we rented from them :) getting to the site was slightly tricky but that was mostly because it had rained quite a bit the few nights before we got there. also there was only 1 kayak instead of 2 as advertised, so we didn’t use them since we would have to take turns & we were hoping to go together. canoe was a good alternative. the sites are kind of close together but all around they were well maintained & they had the paths as cleared as possible. Thanks for a fun weekend :)

Great stay!
I loved camping on Rechelle’s land for a second time. The beach was lovely. The privacy at our site was lovely as well. Will be back!
