Little Red, The Cozy Cabin
i absolutely loved it! the weather didn't cooperate but rest assured the pup swam and hiked Algonquin through the rain. Private spot and very quiet and peaceful when we went. Loved seeing the first few signs of Autumn. Too bad it's so far from where we are or i would've booked another weekend for October

Unsanitary and Unsafe.
Honestly the property is beautiful and could be a great get away if it was maintained. I had to leave after one night of my two nice stay because it was unsanitary and unsafe with trash everywhere, old furniture pieces broken up with screws and nails sticking up and a flying ants nest in the inside corner of the cabin. I will not go into detail about the state of the outhouse but let’s just say it was unusable. After contacting the host and providing pictures I was told she hasn’t checked on it for a while but that it was in fine shape. I have yet to get my refund and have been waiting to write this review until I had but since the host stopped responding after I provided photos to show the inhabitable state the rental was in I thought I’d go ahead and warn future renters.

Camping with a View
Katie's cabin was wonderful. It was small but functional, all you needed. The views (since you are literally steps away from the lake) were incredible. It is so quiet and peaceful. Katie even has a paddle boat which you can use on the lake which we did. The sunrise & sunset are something to see. It was nice getting away for a few days from all the hustle & bustle from the city. There are some other cottages/cabins close by but you barely hear any noise. Katie's cabin has no electricity (lights outside cabin & outhouse) so I would recommend bringing candles, flashlights, etc. As well as no running water or plumbing, this wasn't an issue since it says in the posting as well. There is a town (Bancroft) which is only 15 minutes away, super convenient. Just be prepared but it is worth it since the view is jaw dropping. I will definitely be back soon, 10/10 experience.

Lovely waterfront for kayaking..not a lot of powerboats...so very quiet. Very hot and sunny..you will need a sun shade of some ki ND for those days. Complete fire ban in affect..there is a camp stove ..you will need to bring propane. The sunsets are amazing and sitting at end of dock stargazing every night was serene. My son fished everyday and took the paddle out out to middle of lake. Lots to do in the area...hiking..visited haliburton wolf sanctuary and Algonquin park. It was nice to be off grid for four days. Loved my stay...would go again.

Cute Cabin on the Bay
Beautiful view of Levalley Bay. Cabin has a dock and paddle boat to my pleasant surprise. Cabin is right on the water. Plenty of space for recreational activities on the lot. Basic amenities met, didn't have to bring too much
