This 5 acre property is a quiet forest oasis. The property features a large 4 season yurt. The property is off grid, but features a solar panel electricity in the yurt, a wood stove, fire pit, BBQ, and outhouse. There are plenty of lakes/rivers close by perfect for cooling down. The forest is full of edible mushrooms in the right seasons.Park your car and take a short walk through the forest to the yurt. There’s plenty of fire wood for bonfires, or you can enjoy your evenings on the deck watching the stars. If the evenings are cooler, the wood stove in the yurt will give you the perfect hygge vibe. It’s a great place to share with friends.

Forest Yurt

The yurt is really cozy and beautifully designed, though a bit rough to access. Beware of the relentless mosquitoes this season, but overall, a fantastic experience

Forest Yurt

Great Weekend

Very nice and comfortable and exactly as described. Clean and just enough of an isolated spot. Although, open fire where not allowed, the fire pit area is nice and big with big Muskoka chairs. I would recommend to relax and wind-down for a few days. It rained overnight on our last night and I really had a great restful night! Thanks Aaron.

Forest Yurt

We had an awesome time at Aaron’s yurt. It was a cozy, spacious, winter wonderland of a spot, nestled in the trees and fully stocked with everything we needed. There were lots of great hiking and x-country ski options nearby. Town was a 10 minute drive away. Aaron was a super kind and communicative host and we would definitely recommend staying here!

Cozy & warm!

Aaron's yurt was comfortable & cozy as the weather was cold & wet outside. Enjoyed the hiking trails around nearby Halliburton.
