Just outside Blackville Village limits, far enough away to have all the nature you need but close enough to pop into the village for ice cream or drinks. We spot Bald Eagles, Geese, Ducks and Deer right in our backyard. And if that isn't enough we have a organic family farm so you can visit with chickens, pigs and cows. In season we have a half acre organic garden full of all the vegetables you could ever wish for. Visit the farm stand or pick it fresh off the vine! Relax in the wood fire sauna and shower off in nature in the fun outdoor shower. We have several groomed trails to hike, bike, snowshoe, and cross country ski down. A stocked pond to fish in, take out our little boat for a float or just stroll about and watch our resident beaver swimming around. Town is a five minute drive and you will find a grocery store, ice cream stand, bank, gas station(with nb liquour) and even an awesome thrift shop just one town over in Renous. Venture around the village and you will find horseback riding, river tubing, bridge jumping into the Dungarvon River, and boating on the Miramichi with world class salmon fishing. The city of Miramichi is about a 30 minute drive and has lots of museums and fun things to do. PLEASE NOTE: We have working livestock dogs on the property and pets must be on a leash at all times.

The Old Bow Range

1 site · RV, Tent6 acres · Miramichi, NB
Lose yourself in the middle of a fairytale 6.5 acre old growth forest with the most beautiful 150 + year old pine trees that keep watch over everyone, and a peaceful little creek that flows through the heart of the place. It’s the perfect place to get away from the noise of life and hang out with a couple of old hippies. We have space for 2 or 3 small vehicles only, as we keep our footprint small to preserve and protect the forest. Vanlifers, gypsies, travellers, hippies, free spirits are welcome! The Old Bow Range is our private family land where we live and homestead in a tiny cabin. We love meeting other travellers like ourselves, and hanging out around the fire in the evenings, or lounging down by the river.

Learn more about this land: Wooded or cleared sites can be off the road access as well for parking. Naturel spring close for water, all amenities just minutes away. This is my personal homestead that I started carving out 3 years ago. Lots of wildlife trails. Can be quiet or as loud as you like within reason. Learn how to live Offgrid. Self sufficiency, bushcraft and wildlife or just park, rest, and recover in the woods. Lots of fishing in the area. But we always have projects on the go.  I believe it is important to be in touch with nature and know how to survive within your surroundings. We will be doing homestead fundamentals, basic knowledge of bushcraft. Fire awareness, survival skills for practicality, etc.  This can be as many days as you would like it to be. We enjoy helping those get in touch with their surroundings and becoming connected to the land. My wife is an avid crocheter. And a bit of a hippy. She enjoys practice in herbalism. Natural remedies. And would love to share with like-minded. Partake in daily workshops being offered.Bushcraft, homestead development from raw land. Tenting spots available for any size group. A little about the general area for camping and vacation is as follows: Located at Galloway, in the Parish of Richibucto, in the County of Kent and Province of New Brunswick
