My girlfriends and I came here for a girls weekend and it didn’t disappoint! The hosts were fantastic, the site was large, and the bathrooms are clean and in brand new condition. My only complaint would be the bugs, make sure to bring lots of bug spray! This was my second year visiting this campground, and I will be back!

Wonderful camping !
Summerwinds is a wonderful spot for your camping trip for all ages. The grounds are very well maintained and the hosts are very friendly and accommodating. The bathroom facilities are an added bonus very clean and private. There is a beach with a beautiful view, swimming, hiking, canoeing and playground for the kids. Very close to the lovely town of Georgetown!

They were responsive and helpful with questions. They also provided an adapter for our electrical plug immediately when we asked. The grounds are well maintained and the shower facilities were spotless.

We loved our stay and will definitely be back again. In a lovely area and our kids loved visiting the beach. They were very friendly, and welcoming and responsive. Great little campground!

Great location and Owners
Fantastic place to stay. Were not actually even open when we popped in and quickly accommodated us anyway. And that meant flushing all the water lines, heating the washroom for showers, etc. Its the perfect spot for exploring the Island and is close to the ferry to Nova Scotia, so whether coming from there or headed to, the location cannot be beat. The town of Georgetown is right there with everything you could need as well.
