Brunet Island Campground

Stayed here in early September, 2016. A gem! Wood bundles cost $5, and are purchased from the very nice camp hosts.

Pros:
-Separate areas (unless tenters choose otherwise) for electric / RV camping and no-electric / tent camping. The North Circle, more geared towards tent campers, is positively stunning. Loads of campsite-side water access for putting your canoe/kayak in.
-There are outfitters in the area who will rent watercraft to you, *and deliver said craft to your campsite*

Cons:
-Bathrooms are mediocre. Dated and a bit grubby around the edges, only half of the ceiling lighting works.
-Highway noise audible (and headlights visible) from the South Loop, for electric sites.
