Colorado offers plenty of options for high altitude camping, and Weir and Johnson Campground is right in the mix. At 10,500 feet, the air may be a bit sparse, but your view won’t be. Piled high with blue-hued spruce trees and offering easy boating access to two reservoirs, this lovely little nook may be just what the good doctor ordered. But be forewarned, this is prime mosquito country!
