Blanketed in lush, green grass, the field stretches out under a vast, clear sky, providing panoramic views of the South Downs National Park. Wildflowers in vibrant hues dot the landscape. As the sun goes down, the sky transforms into a canvas of twinkling stars, untouched by city lights. This remote haven, far from the hustle and bustle, is a sanctuary for those seeking tranquility and a deep connection with nature.Currently guests have full access to the field the boundaries of which are clearly marked by fencing. Wonderful network of footpaths along Hangers Way on the property and in the surrounding area.

Friendly place.

Charlotte was a very warm and welcoming lady. Unfortunately the weather prevented our stay from being perfect but I cannot fault the host in anyway. If it was sunny and dry I would have wanted to stay longer.

Absolutely brilliant site. You get the entire field to yourself and it has some incredible views! I brought my two dogs, who absolutely loved it, there's plenty of trails nearby, with plenty of hills and forests. Very nice and secluded with lots of space for the dogs to be off lead! There's plenty of firewood and a little toilet. There's also a lovely deck through the trees to watch the sunset and take in the incredible views! Charlotte is a lovely host and was so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic views and walks!

Amazing views, super convenient for lovely walks, beautiful, peaceful and quiet sunsets and mornings and very friendly and responsive hosts. I would definitely recommend Old Litten and come again myself! Only would take a different car to reach you since the access road is not best for cars which are lower than what is typical.

Charlotte was a great host who was very accommodating, gave us an inclusive tour of the lovely plot tucked away in the Ashford Hangers, nice basic camp with water and a camping toilet, perfect for our 1 night visit. We planned on walking the next day but it was stormy so we will definitely return shortly!

Old Litten

We had a great time camping here. The area is huge! My dog and children really enjoyed having all that space to run and play, the views are beautiful and it’s so peaceful! We trialled our new tailgate tent here and all was a success! Charlotte is so friendly and really helpful! My kids loved her and asked if we could invite her back for dinner 😆 I would definitely book and stay again!
