Welcome to Finca de las Aves. We are a journalist and a designer/ artist from Germany that left home in 2019 with no plan. We found our place on the coastline of Cádiz, where we started creating our dream project in the summer of 2022. Since then we are watching our permaculture-garden grow and try our best living a sustainable life.Welcome to Finca de las Aves. We are Anika and Philipp, a journalist and a designer/ artist from Germany working on our ecotourism project in Andalucia. We just opened our first cabaña, our "Rincón Robinson". It was designed and constructed by Philipp. He refurbished old windows, doors, woods and bought only local and natural materials. You will have your own outside bathroom. All the water you use, even for the flush toilet, is cleaned by a natural treatment system and used to irrigate plants and trees.
There is a small outside kitchen available for you yet. We will offer breakfast with products from our own permaculture garden 🍅🌶🫑 and occasionally there will be dinner options for you to book as an extra. For all your other meals we can recommend you restaurants for all kinds of budgets in the area.
We have good phone reception, but no wifi! Our guests can enjoy nature, stunning ocean-views and dramatic Andalusian sunsets as well as the tranquility of the countryside.
We are located in the beautiful province of Cádiz on the coastline. you need about ten minutes by car to go to the beach in Conil de la Frontera 🏖 and about 20 to El Palmar, one of Spains most famous surf spots. 🏄🏿♀️ The beautiful white village of Vejer de la frontera is only 15 minutes away. You need a rental car to get around though or at least a bycicle if you like challenging yourself. The area is very popular for cycling 🚲
We are about 45 minutes from the airport in Jerez and about 1,5 h from Sevilla. The closest train station is in San Fernando✈🚅
