Big Bog Campground

I grew up locally and my grandfather homesteader a part of the Big Bog. I have visited the place before it became the Big Bog and twice since they completed the park. Our family once took my wife’s mother along the aluminum walk while she was in a wheelchair. It was a great experience for all! We took turns pushing the wheelchair and had to be careful to avoid the edge since there was no railing. I laid down frequently on the walk and took pictures of some exotic plants like the flytrap plant as we called it. The camping part I can’t say anything about since we just drove in during the day There was a bit of a bug problem on one trip but nothing we couldn’t handle. Have fun at the Big Bog!! There is nothing like it elsewhere I know of.
