Description
The nine tent-only sites of Dogwood Ridge Campground are nestled at the southern edge of the lake. Though these sites aren’t as glamped-up as others (which can definitely be a plus!) you’ll find a fishing pier, picnic area, restroom and shower facilities nearby. Find similar sites in the Red Oak, Hickory Hollow, and Sumac Bend areas.

Lots of trails to hike! Plus a swimming area, canoe & paddle boat rentals, convenience store. I read online you can also rent fishing gear. Typical State Park where campsites are fairly close to each other and bathrooms are a little bit icky. The park was pretty booked, but it didn't feel too crowded on the trails, roads, campgrounds or bathrooms.
