Parksland Retreat Sunrise Cabin C1
This is a great getaway.
The cabin is a great place to spend a few days at to relax and recover. It's only a few minutes walk to the swimminghole and showers. The cabin was neat and clean when we arrived. Dustin was friendly and greeted us when we arrived. I would recommend the cabin or tents to everyone. This is a great place to be yourself.

Beautiful and Relaxing Space
I recently took my 8-year-old daughter and her friend camping at Parksland, and let’s just say, it was the kind of trip that makes you question why you don’t camp more often. The tent was spotless and stocked with everything we needed—no "roughing it" excuses here! Our host, Dustin, was friendly, helpful, and had the firewood situation completely figured out—easy to grab and priced better than my last gas station run. We felt safe the entire time, and the girls had the time of their lives hiking around like little explorers, convinced they were discovering uncharted territory. The creek was the perfect spot for some peace (and to rinse off a little mud…or a lot). The trails were well-kept, and the whole vibe made it feel like we had rented our own private nature retreat. It was perfect, and we’ll definitely be back to reclaim our “wilderness royalty” status. Thanks for a great stay, Dustin!

Perfect weekend getaway from NOLA
My friends & I loved our two nights at Parksland retreat! We stayed in P2 & it was everything I could have imagined. The water was nice & clean & neighbors were far away & the campsite was large to fit our four tents. I’m glad we brought a table because there is no picnic table at this campsite. This is definitely a campsite that is better done the second time! We brought a ton of stuff for the two days we were there & it was very tiring to bring everything up & down the path. It’s not a long path but the elevation change makes it a workout. My only complaint was that our campsite technically holds 7 people, but there’s only one parking spot per campsite & not very many extra parking spots. Originally I was planning on parking the other car at the Walmart in Talladega, but Henry was very nice & helped us with a parking spot. Overall, it was worth the drive from NOLA for a long weekend :)))
