60 acres of bench, hill woodland. Our land is primarily wooded but we are slowly expanding with a variety of fruit trees and berries that are disease tolerant in this bioregion. We have parking space bordering Hwy 16. We are two miles from Tilly Arkansas as you are headed towards Witt Springs. We have a small remote A frame for camping as well as a platform for tent camping. We are working on the interior of a small 3 bedroom cabin built out of a combination of logs and a earthen clay straw mixture, called daub, covered with local lime plaster. For those who would like to tend a few chickens we can arrange to have chickens near your camping area.

A Frame
I'm a solo traveler looking for a safe place to camp in close proximity to hiking trails. This was a lovely spot! The host, Gary was very helpful and kind. There was a thunder storm while I was camping and he checked on me to be sure I was ok, which I really appreciated. 😊

Gerald and Marge Go Large
So this was my first ever Hipcamp experience and I think Gerald and Marge might have really messed up. They have set the bar SO HIGH that I don't know if I'll ever get the same experience again. Incredibly gracious hosts, an amazing property to explore, and the tent platform was perfect for my needs!
