Located 25 km down the Telegraph Creek Road on the way to the historic Gold rush town of Telegraph Creek you will find an awesome get away spot. 16 Mile Cabins offer off-grid log cabins, and 2 private camping sites nestled in between old-growth spruce trees on 8 acres of privately owned property in Dease Lake, BC. Our rv trailer and campsite directly overlooks 16 Mile Creek. The Trappers Cabin is a warm 1 bedroom log cabin with kitchenette, dining table, love seat and running water in the kitchen. Picnic tables and fire pits are available for each cabin and campsite. Pit toilets/outhouses are provided.
Guests will have access to walking trails throughout the property. We sell farm fresh eggs and firewood bundles. We also offer a guided walk to Tanzilla River. Wild animals are around at times. Moose, lynx, Martin, Black Bear, Wolves, and plenty of squirrels for your viewing entertainment. Visits from the friendly whiskey jacks and other wild birds are also inevitable.
16 Mile Creek is a great location to continue on to the historical first nations community of Telegraph Creek and drive through the Grand Canyon of the Stikine.
Turn off Hwy 37 onto Boulder Avenue (Super A) and drive to the end of the road. Turn left onto Telegraph Road. Drive to the 25 sign marker. Turn right into the following driveway. Signs are posted to direct you to the campsite. Farm animals are present this is why we do not allow pets. NO PETS
