Great, easy stay
So friendly and a very warm greeting. The bed was so comfortable and very cozy. The site was very clean. We had chairs and a campfire. I really appreciate that you can do just one night.

Watch out for spiders in the tent
I really wanted this to work out. The idea of coming to an already pre-made tent along with an air mattress checks all the boxes of convenience!
Upon arrival, the hosts were super friendly, but offered me pre-made tent #2... I declined because tent #7 was more secluded. That was a mistake.
Immediately upon entry into the tent, my girlfriend discovered several spiders and other bugs.. we started killing them immediately... Once I checked every nook and cranny of the tent for potential openings, I felt we could settle down.... Maybe an hour later, we discovered more spiders on the floor.
That was the last straw, we packed up and left as it was obvious we weren't getting sleep the rest of the night.
Since we arrived late at night, I can't tell if there was a small tear or another opening that was letting bugs in, but either way, it was unacceptable and we had to resort to driving an hour away and getting a hotel for the weekend.

We originally booked site #15 and when we arrived Burke suggested site #9 because it was much more shady. We loved site #9. There was plenty of room for our pop-up camper, it indeed was much more shady. It had a personal fire pit and was right next to a swing play-set that my girls played on most of the time. Both Burke and Bonnie were very friendly along with their dog Kya. The sani-huts were clean and close to site #9. It is very close to different food options and a brewery. We could hear cars but we didn’t bother us one bit. We will definitely book this spot again. Bring plenty of bug spray. Not sure if it’s the time of year but make sure you are not low on bug spray. Thanks Bonnie and Burke for hosting such a great campground 😊
