Our 120 acres is adjacent to Shasta Trinity National Forest in the beautiful Cascade Range between Mt. Lassen and Mt. Shasta. It's a working ranch with tree farms, animals, hydroelectric power, sawmill, gardens, orchards, creeks, springs, trails, and our camp alongside Kosk Creek. We're 54 miles from Redding off of 299E, (about 1-1/2 hour drive). DO NOT TAKE ROAD 11 FROM THE NORTH, IT IS CLOSED! The last mile or so of the road here can be pretty rough, but on arrival, you'll know it's worth the trip! No Cell phone service available here, so it's the perfect opportunity to unplug. We do have a land line up at the house in case of an emergency. Also, if you really need it, WiFi is available at the house.

Creekside Family Lodge

Cabin in the Forest

We stayed in the Family Lodge cabin. It was clean, comfortable with plenty of dishes, cups and utensils. Everything worked, and the new heat pump heating & cooling worked well once we figured out the controls.

Site 7 - Tent Camp Stoney Meadows

We loved Nora and Scott’s place. They friendly accommodating and everything was in tip top condition. We plan to make this a regular retreat place for our family moving forward!

Site 2 - Creekside RV

How does one write a review of Heaven on Earth?? If there is a chance you’re thinking of staying here, do so. There is something almost magical about this place. So many things for the kids to do all day from making friends with the chickens and cows, El Chapo the mini horse and Rosie the Donkey, Kaleo and Coco the farm dogs, paddling around the pond, looking for beautiful pebbles in the creek, or jumping into the clear beautiful water at the swimming hole. This wasn’t even all of it! We could have spent weeks here easily and have fun everyday. Our kids haven’t stopped talking about it since we left. Scott and Nora are such neat people too, it was a pleasure spending time talking to them and getting to know a little about them and the land. It’s at the end of a long and windy road, very secluded and safe. We can’t wait to get back.

Site 1 - Tent Camp Stoney Meadows

It was nice right by the river and the amenities are a welcome addition for acamping area. Quiet and lots of areas to explore easy driving distance. Would stay here again.

Site 2 - Creekside RV

I feel really lucky to have found this place! The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful to welcome us and guide my son and I to the swimming holes and fishing spots both on the property and nearby. We saw so much wildlife! 100% recommend!
