Immerse yourself in the tranquility of our cherished historic family farm, spanning 160 years and 7 generations. Nestled in the serene surroundings of an Apple Hill™ Grower farm, our property offers an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Choose to camp amidst the lush woods or in our enchanting apple orchard. Spend your days engaging in farm activities, exploring scenic hiking trails, or simply unwinding in this idyllic setting. During the harvest season, delight in the experience of hand-picking a variety of fruits and vegetables at their peak of ripeness. Participate in our popular jam making classes held in August, and September for $55 per person, or indulge in a delightful High Tea in the Orchard, hosted on Mother’s Day weekend and June spring afternoons for $45 per person. Be sure to secure your spot early for these sought-after activities, as they tend to fill up rapidly. Our farm is conveniently located near picturesque mountain lakes and charming historic towns, offering ample opportunities for further exploration and discovery. We eagerly anticipate welcoming you to our farm, where you can enjoy invigorating woodland hikes, lend a hand with farm chores, and partake in our weekend bonfire gatherings featuring s'mores and delectable treats from our pie shop. Don't miss the chance to harvest blackberries, apples, and pumpkins during their respective seasons, adding a touch of seasonal magic to your visit.

Site 4 - Sugar Pine Campsite
Great spot! We enjoyed our stay at Harris Family Farm. Highlights: • shady / forested campsite • homemade pie! • wandering around the farm • cats with food-themed name, most especially Spaghetti-O - the 6-toed polydactyl cat Low-light, specific (at least) to Site 4 - Sugar Pine Campsite: While overall lovely, Sugar Pine is affected by a top soil issue (not uncommon at many campsites). There is an abundance of very fine, red dirt / dust that is easily kicked into the air. It was impossible to keep the kids from stirring it up, and thus it got into absolutely everything. Suggest this could be much improved by putting down a layer of compost / pine needles / wood chips. Thank you!

Site 5 - Dogwood Forest Campsite
Lovely, but bring a water container
We liked that the whole campground / farm is spacious, quiet and there was lots of shade. Due to the fire ban, we were only allowed to make a camp fire at the community pit by the main building but it still was great. The apple doughnut they sell was delicious and the pies looked really good too. Unfortunately I did not try them this time, but they have both sweet and savory pies that they can bake for you. The campground is quite basic - there are portaloos dotted around which were not too bad, but water access is limited. Site 5 is across the road from the main ground and every time we needed to wash something, including our hands after using the bathroom, we had to walk across the road, into the main ground to use the sink. Bring a water container of your own to make it easier!

Site 3 - Cedar Tree Campsite
Sweet camping space children dogs 2
Great and spaciously set up sites, I believe there are 5 and I and my 9 yr old and GF and German Shepherd all stayed there and set a Shiftpod III , 10'x10' shade structure and enjoyed their complementary picnic table to create a sweet space to rest and eat. Heading across the street to the Harris Family Farm/Tree Farm, we met Jane and her dog Buster, who played well with my dog, despite my dog was uncut and male and yet he's incredibly socialized. Jane allowed us to fill up our solar shower and gave us access to her Pie Farm Kitchen to wash dishes if we needed to. We enjoyed getting to know her staff and they had a family vibe and gave us a great local place to hangout and soak our feet in, Bridal Veil Falls Picnic area. We would like to recommend the Happy Valley Bridge swimming area, just past the bridge, flip a 3pt turn and park in the turnout (don't let your undercarriage scrape, when parking there, be very mindful, as you'll need to park partly in the road and on the turnout). Great soaking area and current isn't too strong in some areas and in others, deadly, be wise. Upon leaving we were giving alot of flexibility on our time of departure, as we needed it. Great local dollar store for needed missed stuff and gas station, in Pollock Pines. Great orchards and tree farm on site where the farm is. We will come again for sure. No bears or Coons, so just keep all things sealed. FYI-Buster, the farm dog, was busted digging into our food, so keep it sealed. LOL. Good dog!

Site 2 - Fir Tree Camp in Forest
Site 2 - Fir tree camp
We stayed at site 2. The site was massive and clean. We got lucky and saw beautiful sunsets. We didn’t see any poisonous plants so that was a big plus with toddlers. The porta potty’s were clean enough unlike most porta potty’s. We also enjoyed the mini donuts. They were delicious. We would stay here again.
