Welcome! We’re Jillian and Joe, along with our sidekicks Sonora + Ayla, the brains and the brawn behind Mill Creek Resort. Since 2017, we have been pouring every ounce of our love and energy into this landmark 1930’s resort. We take great pride in honoring it's rich history while creating a space for the next generation of mountain adventurers. Nestled in 12 acres of cedars and towering pines on the south side of Lassen Volcanic National Park, we offer 9 cabins open year-round, along with 17 campsites, some featuring glamping tents and 8 RV spots, one featuring a vintage 70's trailer and 2015 modern RV. We hope your path leads you here to experience all that Lassen has to offer. Miles of trails, pristine waters, dark skies, and wildlife abound, all awaiting to be discovered. Find your Wild, be kind, and leave no trace.

Site 9 - Campsite right outside Lassen NP
Spacious spot tucked into the trees, sound of running water nearby was peaceful, fire pit, picnic table, and quiet surroundings! Also, the nicest campground bathrooms I’ve ever seen. The staff were all super nice and helpful, the spot was very affordable, and only a 20 min drive to the southwest entrance of Lassen. A hidden gem!

Twin Glamping Tent Site 19
The site was beautiful and the yurt was very comfortable. The beds were great and there were plenty of blankets for the chilly nights. They were also very responsive to my many questions beforehand. It's a great place to stay if you want to explore Lassen.

1970's Aristocrat Trailer in Lassen
Cozy camper!
Really well stocked little camper. Super cozy, with not a ton of room to move around, but it was a place to relax and sleep off the hikes. The bed is essentially a futon, so fair warning it’s a bit stiff. Other than that, the camper had just about everything we needed for cooking (cups, bowls, plates, cookware, utensils) and for sleeping (blankets, pillows, etc).

Awesome place, close to Lassen, nice host! Campsite was secluded and in the trees. Bathrooms clean and in working order.

Site 11 - Campsite right outside Lassen NP
We absolutely LOVED staying at Mill Creek Resort Campground. The campsites are private and spacious and well maintained. Site #11 ended up being somewhat of a pull through and was helpful for us as we were towing a small pop up trailer. The campground was quiet and the sound of the rushing Mill Creek at the bottom of the hill was delightful. There is a steep trail to get down to the creek, but very little creek access. We were here in early June and the creek was bursting with fresh snow melt from Lassen. We appreciated the coin operated showers and flush toilets. The shower stalls are quite small for larger people but we were grateful to have a hot shower at the end of the day. The land is amazing! Nestled in a thick forest with something for everyone. Pet friendly, Glamping tents, RVs (no generators-hallelujah!) or tent camping. The weekend we were there a women’s yoga retreat was happening, which we found out happens regularly. They have posted activities for the surrounding area on the wall outside the showers. There is a beautiful small meadow with a large deck on the property and a short flat hiking trail at the back of the property. The trail is absolutely beautiful. We were able to purchase firewood and ice outside the front of the resort building. The grounds are well maintained and all the staff we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. We are definitely coming back!
