Amazing views
Hipcampers say this spot has amazing views.
With 23 gorgeous acres, Skyview is the perfect place to enjoy nature and the elements. You can hike our ridge trail for spectacular views of the Monterey Bay and Santa Cruz mountains. You can relax in one of our Skypods and take a nap or read a book beneath a 200 year old oak tree. Go swimming in our huge pond and do yoga/meditate/journal on the adjoining beach. There's a grandmother (old-growth) redwood tree to visit plus a wonderful diversity of wildflowers and native plants to study and appreciate. Birds soar in the skies above (hawks, ravens, vultures) while the calls of morning doves and owls gently fill the air at dawn and dusk. And our sunsets...wow!!

Campsite # 3
I like #3 because it was hiding behind big trees and no one was at site 4 so it was very peaceful and quiet.

Urine party
Has a bunch of potential but feels like a scam. Everyone was piled in together, amenities were not taken care of, everything was double booked, the owner , wasn’t the man listed, and then was really weird and walking around in his underwear with children around. 3 table for 12 spots to share. Says there’s hiking and bike trails and there is nothing of the sort. It smells like urine. Water hole was gross, there was no fire pit. We left early due to disappointment and discomfort.

Campsite #7
our camp site was double booked, glad we came early otherwise our site would have been taken, there is no signage for where to park or where anything is. The person that showed up was not the person in the host photo on the app. Different person and different name entirely. The “host” was walking around in his old practically see through underwear, while there were families with children around. Online our site stated it had a picnic table.we show up and there was not a table so we moved one closer to us. The “host” told us that if other campers asked we would be expected to share it with the other 5 lots that were close. Once people came he made us all park so close to each other that we were sleeping and parked next to each other. We were so close to the next persons tent and vehicle I could hear them moving around and snoring/every time I moved anything the persons baby next to me would wake up. Not peaceful or secluded and can’t have any alone time. I have more peaceful alone time in the city than here due to him piling us in like sardines. There was 11 cars with over 17 adults and a bunch of kids on a chunk of land that is not built for this. It looks like they had an event or a sacrifice based on their leftover setups. There were other campers who were disappointed by the camp site as well. Beware before booking due to the fact that it’s not actually what they say it is. We left early due to the uncomfortable situation of the male host and the camp ground itself.

Campsite # 8
The road up to the property is VERY damaged and a difficult drive even for 4 wheel drive. The swimming area is a human made pool and kind of gross. The toilets were over flowing and also gross. Nice view though from the view point.

Pros: Amazing spot amongst the redwoods Stunning views Every camper we met was friendly Neutral: The messages about the road are accurate and not over stated- it’s rough but if you go slow you are fine. Don’t plan on being able to run up and down to do things or grab things you forgot. Cons: Value for money The facilities are not kept as well (composting toilet was full, empty soap bottles at the sink) The shower is not private, it’s a shower head by the pond with a curtain around it. Not necessarily problem, just not clear in the listing. There aren’t really many spaces for ladies to pee- the composting toilets are not supposed to be used for pee but you need to work hard to find a place to pee that isn’t in view of one of the sites. The hiking area you are allowed to explore is small. Most of the property is marked ‘residents only’. From the time we booked, to the time we got there, our site changed. We booked a site that had a view based on original photos and early reviews. Ours did not. There were 6 sites on the property when we booked, when we got there, there were 12. They turned every site into 2. You are right beside your neighbor’s tent. There was no host. Not necessarily a problem but many people had two different site numbers within their communications. Stuff everywhere- unassembled large tents, non functional car, wheelbarrow- looked like many unfinished projects. Again no item would necessarily be a con if it was shared correctly in the listings.
