Campsite #6
This is my second time staying at this location. Really like it here especially with kids. My son loves the net in the tree!

Okay Experience Great Views
The views are beautiful. The main concern is the roads to get there, on my way there my truck overheated going up all the steep hills (I drove 3 hours to get here so the truck was running good), on the private roads I was almost in numerous accidents even though I was as far to my side as possible and going about 10 mph the whole way up sometimes less. The campsites are very close together so choosing a campsite really means nothing. There are also many residents that live there, you will most likely never see them but you are not allowed to walk parts of the property because of this. I wouldn’t recommend staying there for numerous nights as after day 1-2 you run out of things to do, the trails are very short unless you are wanting to go find/ make your own. When we went up August 22-25 it was very dry, to be expected (not camps fault) so plan accordingly. The shower is not private, it is located next to the pond that has a curtain that only covers half, the showers are either boiling hot or ice cold. When we went they were completely out of propane and half the camp was residents only so we just enjoyed the view for the whole day. There is no communal firepit it is a propane mini fire pit which was also out of propane. Daniel is very nice, and so are the other residents if you meet them. Cell coverage is very spotty only 2 spots we could send a text we’re at the beach and at the viewpoint. Overall decent experience but would not go again as because of the drive.
Campsite #2
I really enjoyed our stay! The property has a beautiful views and everything you need: running water, toilet, showers. It was comfy & cozy!
A few notes: the road is long and bumpy, it says you don't need 4WD but I was super happy that my car had it. There is lots of loose dirt, mounds, and erosion so unless you are very comfortable in a 2WD car driving roads like that, I would use caution. There was also lots of mosquitos so plan accordingly! One night there was other hipcampers and the sound from them speaking carries & woke us up early.
Overall, we had a great experience at this site! I was grateful for the hammock/view hangout area. It is a small hike up to get to it but worth the walk! I really appreciated the sink with running water, it was nice and easy for doing dishes. I would book again!

Enjoy Hammock Hill
A wonderful place to experience living off the grid. The hammock hill is very peaceful with a lovely view of Monterey Bay. We saw a family of quail there and several birds of prey soaring high. We were the only campers midweek so it was nice and quiet. The road to the campsite definitely needs a 4-wheel drive. Daniel and his staff gave us a friendly greeting and helped us drive the last mile or so.

Campsite # 3
I like #3 because it was hiding behind big trees and no one was at site 4 so it was very peaceful and quiet.

Urine party
Has a bunch of potential but feels like a scam. Everyone was piled in together, amenities were not taken care of, everything was double booked, the owner , wasn’t the man listed, and then was really weird and walking around in his underwear with children around. 3 table for 12 spots to share. Says there’s hiking and bike trails and there is nothing of the sort. It smells like urine. Water hole was gross, there was no fire pit. We left early due to disappointment and discomfort.
