Welcome to Saddle Mountain Ranch, RV and Campground! We are located on 89 acres of forest land off Carmel Valley Road, just 5 miles from HWY 1. Nestled within oaks, Monterey pines, and redwoods, Saddle Mountain offers a great family friendly getaway for those seeking a break from the bustle of life. PLEASE NOTE, our RV and tent sites are pet friendly but YOU MUST ADD THE PET FEE EXTRA WHEN MAKING YOUR BOOKING. Our glamping stays are NOT pet-friendly aside from one of our luxury tents. We charge $15 per pet and you can bring a maximum of 2 pets. On site seasonally heated pool (Mid May through Oct). ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: *Please continue reviewing/monitoring California Travel guidelines as they may change and affect your reservation* On site seasonally heated pool (seasonally), private hiking trail, playground, Foosball table and more. No refund for inclement weather during the Winter months. We provide complementary Wi-Fi in designated areas of the park. Walk-in Tent Site

Just as described! Staff answered all my questions and had a great stay. The only thing i didn’t expect was our assigned bathroom to just have one toilet & 1 shower that was shared with a lot of people. Other than that it no complaints.

Walk-in Tent Site

A lovely campsite with great amenities. The site was super beautiful and close to Carmel. We experienced a lot of noise from other guests overnight, so the policy of telling people to keep quiet hours doesn’t work.

Site 11 - Luxury Tent

Glamping gem

This is such an amazing property. My husband and I love every part. The pool is kept up very nicely. The best part was all sites where quiet at the times asked, we were actually able to relax. We will definitely be coming back soon.

Drive-in Tent/Van Site

The amenities at the site were great! Bathrooms and showers were clean (with hot water!), lots of games and activities. The site was also clean and had a grill, fire pit, and picnic table available for use. The area was nice and so was the view if you are in the higher up sites. Unfortunately, the sites are VERY close to each other. You can easily see and hear other people. In addition, it is very expensive for a camp site. Dogs cost extra, each additional person costs extra, and if you want more than 1 car it costs more as well. They only allow 2 cars per site. It's a really nice place but given the price and closeness to other sites I don't think I would come back. I think it just depends on what kind of camping you want to do!
