RV Camping
From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and escorted by bicycle to our campsite. The host shared helpful information about Yosemite trails, and locational tidbits.
A quiet and lovely place, with beautiful baby sequoia trees.
About a 28 mile drive to Yosemite National Park Entrance. Would definitely stay again!

Gorgeous site and lovely staff
Upon arrival we were welcomed in by John. He was kind and funny and gave us thorough directions and helpful information on how to navigate Yosemite. The campground was beautiful and the other campers were lovely! We met a young man who shared dinner with us and another group of young men who offered us firestarters to improve our pathetic excuse of a campfire. Altogether a lovely experience, especially as we are inexperienced campers, it was wonderful!

Great place for Yosemite
Very close to the entrance to Yosemite. Great view of the park driving in that I didn't get the last time here.
Easy check in and great conversation with the on-site manager.

Rustic camping that is clean!
Mac is wonderful and so is this campground. Super chill and only 35 min from the Yosemite park entrance. The campground was clean and speckled with trees so you actually feel like you’re camping in the woods and not a giant parking lot. The tent sites looked really cool with chairs and fire pits. There is a super rad tiny house on the property that can be Airbnb’s too! The bathrooms were a bit vintage but VERY clean and included soap, body wash and shampoo. Plus the hot water was ON POINT with great water pressure. I felt very safe and felt like Mac and his team took very good care of this property.
Cell service is spotty for Verizon, he said ATT and T-mobile have better luck but he does have a WiFi signal close to the hosts house (thanks to Casey) that he lets you jump onto. He’s great with recommendations and is so so friendly!
100% will be back for ambiance and not just proximity to the park.

Mac has several tent and RV spots and lets you choose which site works for you and your family. There t picnic tables, fire pits, and hot showers at the campground for use for campers. Mac and his Uncle were super helpful and had great information on what sites to see and best times of day to see Yosemite. The park entrance is about 30 miles from the campground but far enough away to have some privacy after a long day of site seeing. All of the other campers we met were super friendly and cordial. We left our campsite during the day including bikes, food, chairs, and equipment and nothing went missing. Mac did tell us to lock up our bikes as a precaution but great place to stay.

The campsite is a little funky but everyone we met there was so friendly. The owner, Mac, is great!
Hot showers, nothing fancy. Despite what you might think when registering, it’s really a drive in and pick your site kind of place. No actual site reservations. It’s pretty close to Yosemite and 15 minutes from Coulterville, a great little town with some good bars , a great cafe and an interesting history (check out the museum!).
