Our homestead operates as both a private home and a homestead training ground where folks from urban locations come to learn to live on the land, grow food, develop agricultural skills and design their plans for land stewardship. We are currently *under construction*. Our forest was damaged by the draught and so there are changes underway. Please excuse our appearance as we shift toward becoming a food forest. &lt;3 We take pride in our connection to and reverence for the land and love to share the experience.

Enjoy 5 acres of clear pasture land and 20 acres of forestry in a secluded area that's far enough away from civilization but close enough to the highway 45. As our great-great-grandfather called it, Welcome to Bigfoot Country! Bigfoot Country has a small pond on site and over a mile of trails all over the 20 acres that is perfect for horseback riding, hiking, and ATV riding. Explore the forest on foot, horseback, or with a side by side to find the hidden spring in the woods. Deer frequent Bigfoot Country as we feed them throughout the year. A small patch of trees serves as our "bird sancturay" where you can see and hear a wide variety of birds chirping and flying through. We keep the pasture cut beautifully to fend off snakes and other unwanted pests. Pets are more than welcome, but please supervise them. We would hate for your furbabies to get hurt.
