The campground is near both the Interstate and a railroad so there is some ambient noise.

Dwarshack dam is approximately 30 miles away or the Clearwater River is in Orofino. Ride your bike or ATV on several miles of terrain . Like to fish Campbell pond is just 8 miles away. Quite area with only four camp sites, outhouse and fire pit. Deer and if the time is right wild turkeys will come visit. Come enjoy!

You can enjoy a scenic drive over French Mountain to the North Fork of the Clearwater River or walk, hike, ride, or snowmobile on the many roads and trails throughout the area.
