Musselshell Meadows Campground is a beaut!

The meadows originally served as an important meetup spot for the Nez Perce natives and to some degree, that’s still true today. Here you can enjoy dense forests, rare wildlife and a cornucopia of recreational opportunities. One of those is a 12.5 mile OHV trail loop with gentle grades. Keep vehicles below 50 inches in width and you’re gravy!

The site is in front of my home with direct access to thousands of acres of the Idaho Department of Lands that borders the property. The property is within easy driving distance of historical Pierce and Orofino. Crooked Whiskey Acres is also close to the Clearwater National Forest. You can enjoy a scenic drive over French Mountain to the North Fork of the Clearwater River or walk, hike, ride, or snowmobile on the many roads and trails throughout the area.

Property is surrounded by Forest Service, BLM, Potlatch land with private land (to the east of property). Round pen is available by request for horses and fire pits available for use (although caution requested when dry season).Open ranging area. Prime hunting available for Turkey, Deer, Elk and Bear by special arrangement and permission by owners.

This isn't your traditional campground feel, it's a place to come kick back with us during your travels. You'll find us in between Lewiston and Orofino. We've set up a sweet little campsite tucked up on the hill with magnificent views that will sweep you into full relaxation mode. Site includes a fire pit with complementary firewood, a tent if needed, outhouse with a hot shower, and fresh eggs if you're wanting a full on rustic breakfast over the fire in the morning. Fire is permitted depending on the season.
