This is a great campsite. You're close(ish) to Bear Lake's North Beach, but far enough up in the mountains that you get cooler temperatures, a little privacy, and some fairly dark skies. We've stayed here twice—once in Site 13, and once in Site 14. All of the sites are fairly isolated and well-maintained, but Site 13 offers a little more privacy and is the better option. Mosquitoes are bad in the early-summer, but are almost non-existent by early-August. There's plenty of deadfall, so don't bother bringing firewood. The CG is about 15 miles from North Beach, and ~22 miles from Garden City, UT. Minnetonka Cave is just a few miles above the campground, and is a nice diversion if you're too sunburned to go back to the beach.
