Sherman Creek Trail #203 is a 7.

1 mile trail that leads to the Lolo Motorway, a historic road once of great importance to the Nez Perce tribe for trading. You are permitted to camp in the area, but there aren’t many amenities, so it isn’t exactly encouraged. That being said, backpackers may appreciate it as an option. There is also parking for two trucks with stock trailers, a hitchrail, water trough, and feed manger if you plan on bringing your horse. Wilderness Gateway Campground is located just across US Highway 12.

Learn more about this land: Private secluded area in northern Idaho. Close to towns Orofino idaho 12 miles or Pierce Idaho 14 miles. Dwarshack dam is approximately 30 miles away or the Clearwater River is in Orofino. Ride your bike or ATV on several miles of terrain . Like to fish Campbell pond is just 8 miles away. Quite area with only four camp sites, outhouse and fire pit. Deer and if the time is right wild turkeys will come visit. Come enjoy!

The property is within easy driving distance of historical Pierce and Orofino. Crooked Whiskey Acres is also close to the Clearwater National Forest. You can enjoy a scenic drive over French Mountain to the North Fork of the Clearwater River or walk, hike, ride, or snowmobile on the many roads and trails throughout the area.
