40 acres with two small streams. Mostly forest with some open land. Very quiet and isolated but only 1.8 miles west off MS HWY 25 which is a 4 lane HWY from Starkville to Jackson. We have 110, 30W and 50 W outlets at west end of barn. We have 15 or more campsites scattered around the barn. We have water at the side of the barn and a full bath in the barn. On the south side of the property which is 1/4 mile south of the barn, we have additional camping in a mostly forested area but no bathroom or water.

Explore the forest on foot, horseback, or with a side by side to find the hidden spring in the woods. Deer frequent Bigfoot Country as we feed them throughout the year. A small patch of trees serves as our "bird sancturay" where you can see and hear a wide variety of birds chirping and flying through. We keep the pasture cut beautifully to fend off snakes and other unwanted pests. Pets are more than welcome, but please supervise them. We would hate for your furbabies to get hurt.

The 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin has an open floor plan in the den and kitchen, a queen-sized bed in the master bedroom,m and twin beds in the second bedroom, with a roll-away daybed available. A pack-n-play is available upon request. The bathroom is handicapped accessible. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, full-size refrigerator, and microwave. There is no dishwasher. There is a flat-screen TV in both the den and the master bedroom with Directv. We have WIFI available. The space Sweet Olive Cabin is the perfect place for your girls' trip, honeymoon, hunting/fishing trip (in season/with license), anniversary, or just a quiet place to spend quality time with your family! Here at Blossom Hill Farms, we want you to feel right at home! Guest access Sweet Olive Cabin can be a little difficult to find, especially in the dark. A GPS will get you close. The cabin is close to the road, Blossom Hill Rd. Oftentimes, GPS will take you to the property across the road, which has a long driveway/levee over the lake. If you are coming in from the north, the cabin will be on the right. If coming in from the south, it will be on the left. Let me know If your eta is after dark, and I can leave the porch lights on for you. Other things to note Scott County is a dry county with beer available for sale or beer and alcohol for dining in at some locations. Sweet Olive Cabin is not a “pet-friendly” property. We do, however, make an exception for registered service animals with an additional $25 fee. Fishing is available for an extra $15 per person per day. You provide your own equipment and bait. In Forest (5-8 miles), there is Vowell’s grocery store, Walmart, and many fast food restaurants. For eating in, try Foothills lunch/dinner with live music on Friday and Saturday nights). If you are looking for some genuine southern cooking, there’s The Garden Patch (open till 2 pm M-Th).
