May Creek Cabin

May Creek Cabin was built in the early 1900s for miners, and restored in 1993 for public use.

The cabin provides bunks beds, a table, and benches, as well as some kitchen and cleaning supplies. There is a wood-burning stove and propane cooking stove—firewood is provided (in the winter only) but propane is not, so bring your own! Try fishing in the alpine waters of May Creek for rainbow and brook trout. Early explorers crossed this area, leaving hiking, biking, and riding trails for today’s visitors! Check out the Nez Perce Trail, the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail, and the Continental Divide National Historic Trail.
