Tour the historic one room Goffs Schoolhouse (on the National Register of Historic Places) and enjoy the self-guided walking tour through time exploring the history of the East Mojave Desert including railroad, mining, ranching, homesteading and quirky high desert artifacts like the Mojave Booth, the Mojave Road school bus and the Mojave Cross. Our main public gate closes at 4pm, when arriving later, enter through the very first service gate. It's always open and it's the immediate left turn once you turn onto Lanfair Road. This property is accessible by off road vehicle only, otherwise you may park your car in parking which is 4-7 minutes away from your tent by our shuttle. To access your tent, you will be required to schedule the shuttle for check in. A host will drive out to meet you to take you to your tent. Must be scheduled in advance.
