Red Canyon Campground

37 sites · RV, Tent

Inside ol' Dixie (that’s the Dixie National Forest for out-of-towners), there’s a spectacular canyon full of stunning red sandstone.

It’s called Red Canyon, and if you’re driving to Bryce Canyon National Park from the west, you’ll be passing through. Like it’s more famous neighbor, Red Canyon Campground is full of recreation opportunities…except you won’t have to pay as much of a premium if you’re staying and camping in this cool little spot! Thanks to it’s 7,400-foot elevation, Red Canyon stays cooler throughout the summer, so you don’t have to worry about overheating as you’re hiking (hopefully! It can still get toasty). After a long day of adventuring, retire to your wooded campsite for some frosty bevs, clear night skies, and good vibes.
