Lower Shady Lane
Disappointing experience
I booked the Lower Shady Lane campsite since we had an RV and a tent, we paid extra for the water and electric hook up. Upon arrival we were unsure of where the campsite was and the host Brooke noticed we looked a little lost. When we told her the campsite she was taken back and informed us that someone was in our spot and thought it was us. So they do not confirm the person on the reservation obviously. I explained I picked that location specifically and instead of correcting things offered us other sites. We were parked in front of Shady Lane and was next to an old wood barn and an eye sore of a fenced in dumpster with a broken fence facing the site with all sorts of trash. Because the other camper had 3 dogs she put them there, when we had two dogs. Broke did try to talk up the site with the woods behind it and a toilet in the barn. We never found the water hook up. To be honest we took Shady Labe and just dealt with the disappointment. We were never offered a discount, refund, or anything to accommodate that our reserved camp site was given to someone else. The online pictures are very deceiving and are not what they really look like. It is in a beautiful location and close to town, hikes and outdoor activities that we took advantage of outside the campground. I was really disappointed and would never return there.

Grand View RV Site w Full Hookups
Great Spot in the Mountains
Great place to camp! Close to town and great hiking trailheads. A bike path into town too! Brooke was great! Showed us our spot, gave the WiFi password and answered any and all questions. Many good sites and views for sure. Cute solar lights all over the property to show they way around. Thank you, Brooke for a great place to stay!

Pikes Peak Grand View #3
My kids and I absolutely loved this campsite. It was quiet, peaceful and the direct view of Pikes Peak from our camp was stunning and beautiful. All of our needs were met and I enjoyed every moment here. Better than any crowded camp any day!!

The Stables
Brooke does a great job giving you everything you need for your stay. The hosts were so friendly and helpful, as we not only had a lot of questions, but also had the freedom to do what we needed to get settled and take care of our 45’ rig! Very quiet and peaceful! Even if you do mind other guests, we loved how much privacy we still had. We were able to let our dog off leash and explore the property, which includes an amazing view with hiking trails less than half a mile up the road. Lots of different camping options on the property for every kind of adventure. We would definitely recommend to you and your friends!
