Vallecito RV Site 1
This is the second time we've stayed at Chris' place near Vallecito Lake. As before, it is so peaceful and quiet. This time we really enjoyed the rocking chairs under the gazebo. The space is easy to find, easy to access, and has everything you need, electric, water, sewer, and he even has the wifi info posted right there on the gazebo. It's a great space and we'll definitely be back next summer.

Great spot!
Great spot not far from the lake and the river.
Quiet neighborhood . Very nice property, you have the whole place to yourself!
Chris was always prompt at answering any questions we had.

This site was perfect! Quiet neighborhood with lots of space. My 2 children loved the picnic table to complete homeschooling each day. We drove into downtown Durango 2 days of our week long stay. The creek in the neighborhood is all on private property, but it was recommended to us to park for free at the Vallecito Creek Trailhead and then walk just a couple minutes to the Vallecito Campground to access the creek. This recommendation worked perfectly and my kids loved going to the creek. The creek is accessible on the Vallecito Trailhead, however not until after a mile into the trailhead. So my kids much rather preferred the 2 minute walk from the trailhead parking to the Vallecito Campground to access the creek. Chris responded quickly to any questions we had. We really enjoyed our stay!

Perfection
Why would you want to spend your time in a crowded campground when you can have the mountains to yourself. No neighbors in this out of the way paradise. I cannot recomend it enough. The perfect hip camp space.

Chris' site was easy to find, just north of the Lake. Nice and quiet with easy hookup. It was such a cool retreat, 48 degrees when we got up on Sunday, from the heat of Phoenix. Thanks for having us.
