Comfortable location, green and tree-filled goodness. The little office in therapy is staffed by helpful friendly people who will hook you up with local trail information in the Berkshires and onto the nearby Appalachian trail along with the awesome circuit hike right there in the park. At the end of the trail the cool river is nice to drop your heated up body into and cool off. Thumbs up.

Chill vibe all around and nearby Kent is easy to stock up on goods and a decent little town to visit so something for everyone here. Thumbs up.

Beautiful campground. When it's not full many of the sites feel very private. Good hiking out of the park and an easy trek from NYC with a car. The brook runs through the campground so most sites are near the water as it winds around.
