I am retired living a good life on 38 acres with my horses, mules, donkeys, a mini Zebu steer, my 2 dogs and cat.. I've had friends visit that had such a nice quiet time.. suggested I share it so others could enjoy, there will be work in progress ongoing but I've had a lot of upgrades and improvements to allow you to have a safe and enjoyable getaway..Learn more about this land:If you only need water and a place to park for your self contained camper, van or tent, this will work perfect for you.. there is a seating area in the upstairs area of the barn to enjoy watching the hummingbirds and watching the livestock.. Or simply to enjoy the quiet, if you are traveling with your horses, you can set up your panels for no additional charge or for a few, we have stall and lots available..

Learn more about this land:Campers can hike the property and may catch glimpse of domestic ducks who live on the 2-acre pond. Occasional blue herons and white egrets frequent the water and wild geese have been sighted on the pond. The camping area is very quiet and accessible by single controlled-access road. Long-horned cattle are in nearby pasture and 3 horses and a donkey are nearby in another pasture. Campsite is about a 15-minute drive from the small city of Andalusia, Alabama with various shopping and dining venues. We are also about 1.5 - 2 hours from the Florida beaches of Destin, Navarre, and Ft. Walton Beach.

Camping On The Farm! This is a living quarters horse trailer that we use to travel with our horses. It is a small space! Set on a working farm 5 miles down a red dirt road, the camper offers beautiful views of the Farm and wonderful interaction with nature and the farm animals. The Farm offers the peace and quiet of country life while being just a short distance from the OWA Amusement Park, fine dining, great malls, an outlet center, and the beautiful Gulf beaches. The space Camping On The Farm! This is a living quarters horse trailer that we use to travel with our horses. It is a small space! There is a queen size bed in the upper area, a kitchenette with an undercounter refrigerator, a microwave, a two burner gas cooktop, and an outdoor grill. The bathroom has a toilet and a 24" x 30" stand up shower. The kitchen sink is also the bathroom sink. There is a small 3 gallon water heater which will provide about 5 minutes of hot water, meaning you have 5 minutes to shower. We provide a coffee maker (French press), ground coffee, fresh eggs from our chickens, and a loaf of fresh bread (for your consumption or to feed the animals). We do not provide a cooked breakfast. There is no TV or radio. The Camper is nestled 17 miles from Town, so you may want to shop on your way here. The Eastern Shore Center is located at Exit 38, where you can find great shopping, many restaurants, and a Publix grocery store. We try to keep various essential items in the pantry and there is a stocked kitchen (pots, pans, plates, glasses, flatware). TV, landline telephone, and internet are not available. You should have good cell phone service, Verizon and AT&T 4G , outside. Check-in is any time after 3pm and Check-out is 10am. Guest access Please do not open any gates or cross any fences. The animals are people-friendly and will come up to the fences to be fed. Treats are provided. Other things to note There is no TV or radio available.

Campsites are approximately 40' x 40' allowing plenty of room for tents, car camping, hammock or small rv camping. Each site has a fire pit. Extra amenities are available at additional cost, such as towels, all natural bug deterrent body wash, all natural bug deterrent laundry detergent, firewood, firestarter, bbq grill, etc. Additional options are subject to change so feel free to submit request ahead of arrival to help better assist you. "The Front Porch" multi functions as the honor area for supplies, along with a common area to relax, watch outside dish network television with ceiling fan, rocking chairs, bug lights and multi purpose fire pit.
