We had an amazing time at Sipsey Creek Farm! Andrea is the most gracious host and really takes care of her guests! We camped on the primitive site and it was very private and cozy. The indoor kitchen and barn came in handy as some weather moved through and we were able to stay safe and dry. This is the perfect spot to enjoy a safe, quaint camping trip with all the Bankhead trails close by. We will definitely be back!

This comfortable, colorful, fully furnished cottage is ideal for adventurous couples and families and is nestled on peaceful acreage right in the center of it all. Located 1 hour north of Birmingham and south of Huntsville, Alabama's Lewis Smith Lake, commonly called “Smith Lake,” by the locals, is rated the second-cleanest lake in the country besides Lake Tahoe. Hot summers, mild winters (mostly!), and plenty of rain to keep water levels high make this an ideal region for enjoying lake life. Enjoy private, peaceful lodging 1.5 miles from the private boat ramp and lake access located on the beautiful upper part of the Rock Creek branch of Smith Lake, which offers year-round deep water. The Little Blue House is a comfortable, fully furnished home offering 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Upon arrival, you will find ample parking, a well-lit, welcoming front porch, and easy self-check-in with your personalized digital lock code. Start your day communing with the local wildlife, while sipping coffee from the front porch or back deck. After a day of adventure, grill some dinner and eat alfresco at the picnic table or relax with cocktails around the firepit. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed, a spacious walk-in closet, and an en-suite bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The second bedroom provides a king-size bed and a designated work desk/dressing table. The third bedroom offers 2 twin beds and is directly across from the second full bathroom. All linens and towels are provided. The home has a well-stocked kitchen with a stove, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, blender, and a refrigerator big enough to camp in. Off the kitchen, there is a full-size washer and dryer and access to the large outdoor back deck. The deck overlooks the wooded lot and provides a small fenced area for your pooch. Beyond the fenced area, you will find the picnic table and fire pit. Yard games such as horseshoes and cornhole are on site as well.

This is a cave camping experience like no other! We have an outdoor campsite with a large cave you can spend the night in. Spend time around the fire beneath the stars or go below for an unforgettable night below ground. Where else can you go for complete darkness while you sleep? Enjoy a quick tour of our cave & then settle in for a memorable night at Sims Cave Park! We have over 10 acres of nature to roam where you will find your campsite and our cave. Our campsite consists of a Boy Scout wall tent pitched on a platform with a queen sized air matress. A power outlet is available inside the tent. We also have 2 small fans and lights for your use. Next to the tent is a ring for a campfire and a picnic table. The campsite is about 20 yards from the mouth of our cave. The cave has a small gate but opens up to big walking passage once you get down inside. We have a couple hundred yards of big cave that you will have access to. You will get a quick tour of the accessible cave upon check in so that you know the boundaries. We have military cots, as well as big mats and air mattresses available for sleeping inside the cave. We currently have a primitive bathroom (composting outhouse) and showers available. Both of these are about a 100 yard walk downhill from the cave. Parking is also about 100 yards from the campsite. Guests will have access to the cave park grounds. We have a beautifully wooded mountain property with several rocky outcrops. There is also a stream flowing out of our cave next to our big event deck. Guests must remain within the cave boundaries shown to you during your orientation tour. No pets are allowed inside of the cave at any time. We have a small refrigerator available in our check-in cabin that may be used by our guests.
