This is “Stone Soup,” in honor of unique geology and a folktale where everyone brings something to make a whole greater than its parts. Built with love during musical campouts, materials are recycled from building sites, including solar panels and composting toilet.

Quiet and off grid. No light pollution and amazing mountain views and  night sky.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         

We chose the perfect campsite. Not only did it have amazing views, but it also came with the cutest chairs.

Learn more about this land:Hello this campsite is open air 20 minutes from Grand Canyon and hike trials off of highway 180, 45 minutes from Snow bowl and Flagstaff Az. Good atmosphere quite peaceful new camp ground on 1.5 acres LOCATION IN VALLE AZ. PINE RD. AND WINGFIELD.

This site is near Williams, AZ and 45 miles from Flagstaff, AZ. Views of San Francisco Peaks are visible, elevation is over 5,000 feet and a great place to camp while visiting the area including Grand Canyon, Bearizona, Flagstaff area and more. Directions from I 40, hwy 64 to Grand Canyon Junction, right on hwy 180, turn left on Nobel, right on Goldenrod, left onto Meadowbrook, right on Pkwy.

34 miles South of the Grand Canyon South Rim Entrance, And 5 miles off the main highway.  Secluded, quiet and Nestled in the trees.  Perfect for stargazing, You’ll never see the Milky Way the same.  Let nature speak to you through the voices of the Coyotes, the bugles of the elk and the songs of the birds.  

Road to Off The Beaten Path:  

It’s definitely an adventure and with possible sightings of Antelope, Elk, Coyotes,  Bob Cats and a few of mother nature’s other critters. The dirt road can be driven on by nearly all passenger vehicles including  RV’s.  However, the road is bumpy and has a few ruts from last winter snow, we recommend a standard size sedan with moderate clearance.  Though, during monsoon season (June-September) and after a heavy snowfall, the best vehicles are an all wheel drive or four wheel drive vehicle.

The area around Grand Canyon Junction is peaceful. The people who stay here come to get away from all the hustle and bustle but remain within driving distance to places like Williams, Flagstaff and Sedona.Learn more about this land:This campsite is only 30 minutes away from the Grand Canyon, and 1 hour from Flagstaff. There are not many people around so the area is very quiet. Great for star gazing and there is a nice view of the San Francisco Peaks! 1 Acre of private land, with great views, perfect for the campers who would like a private campsite stay.Can fit up to 40 ft campers. No hookups.
