Wyrdshire Primitive camping only

11 acres of ruggid camping, less than a mile from wild spirit wolf sanctuary. Lots of tent spots wifi in common area. Juniper and pinion pine, small groves of oak shrub. There is a resident very energetic male husky (fixed) all pets must be leashed at all times. Park near common area and hike to a number of areas for tenting. Weather permitting I can walk you around the property and show the boundaries, but I ask that you not wander onto neighboring properties!

Watch for: Rattle snakes, cactus, biting ants and wasps.

Painted Desert Ranger Cabin

ATTENTION: If you do not have a lifted, high-clearance, 4-wheel drive vehicle with locking differentials, and prepared for self-rescue with a winch, shovel, and rigging DO NOT BOOK THIS CABIN. The cabin sits at the end of an unmaintained, unimproved, dirt road that becomes impassible during winter snow events and summer monsoon rains!

The Painted Desert Ranger Cabin is a backcountry, off grid cabin acquired by Ranger Ross in 2011. Ranger Ross lived in the cabin while he worked as a resource protection ranger at the Petrified Forest National Park.

The ranger cabin is a rustic off grid cabin that offers no amenities. There is no concierge, room service, or continental breakfast. There is no linen service or fancy little bottles of shampoo. It does however, offer beautiful views of the Painted Dessert wilderness, quiet serenity, and amazing star gazing opportunities. All from the comfort of a cozy one room cabin with a queen size bed and a flush toilet.

The ranger cabin sits on the border of the north wilderness area of the Petrified Forest National Park. There are great hiking and exploration opportunities right out the back door of the cabin.

The cabin has full kitchen amenities, and not pictured - but lots of seating and hot shower.

There is also a grill on site. Huge bonus.

Learn more about this land:Pitch your tent or park your rv (no hook ups available. Sorry) on our land. Explore the canyon and go for a hike. In the canyon you will see all sorts of wonderful rock formations. Meet the goats and the horse that walk on our property. We own them they just enjoy walking around to graze. So what are you waiting for? Come and enjoy the beautiful scene.

Dessert small canyon cabin

We own about 116 acres of property. We have goats that wo der the property to graze and a wonderful rescue horse (we rescued him) who also walks around to graze. 

There are some wild horses that also walk around and you may see one or more walk up to the property. (Please be advised they are wild horse so we recommend you don't approach them as they are skittish)Learn more about this land:A small cabin (power with generator optional for a fee). There is a futon and we have an airmatress to accommodate for extra guests. No more than 4 guests in small cabin. There is a grill on site you can use to cook food. 

Pets are okay but please keep leashed due to wildlife. Hiking anywhere on the property is okay. You are welcome to take any crystals or rocks (or artifacts if you find any. But please be advised those who have take artifacts have sent the. Back claiming to have things follow them home)
