Weekend Trip to Boston Mountain Arkansas Adventures

Very secluded spot and really liked it. Close to fort Smith lake and Devils den state park. We went to Devils den and hiked a few trails. Came back and cooked and relaxed around our fire. You need to 4x4 truck to get all the way back there but not bad.

Everything about this site is peaceful and Serene. We enjoy tent camping and we love being in nature. No matter what site you have you will hear the creek. We really couldn't have been happier we will definitely be returning.

Weekend Trip to Red Fern

Absolutely beautiful views on the hiking trail nearby. The hosts were really nice and the campground dogs are adorable. I would not recommend trying to find this place in the dark, read the directions they give you carefully. Site 1 is right on the swimming hole and you can hear the creek, the water is so clear as well, it’s very pretty and peaceful. The tent rentals were nice and convenient, they set them up for us.

The showers and bathrooms were clean and convenient, parking spots were pretty level, the electrical hookups were well maintained. I noticed a substantial tornado shelter, but it was not marked. I appreciate the bike washing equipment. It was a little vague when we first pulled in to identify our camping spot. I would have liked to see a little raise for the rv at the dump station to make it easier to dump the tanks from an rv with a low discharge pipe. Overall, a really nice, well maintained campground that I would absolutely stay at again.

The A frame was absolutely adorable and very comfortable. The liftable windowed wall and direction it faced made a private view of the beautiful country nature scenery. It was calming and relaxing. The mattress was comfortable and the decor was perfect. The campground was quiet and a great setting to chat with other campers and allowed kids to enjoy run around and play. The bathroom amenities were clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend!

I have been here time and time again. The scenery is so beautiful, and it gets so quiet at night. The stars are beautiful, and I just love it so much. I usually tent camp, but chose to try out glamping this time. I absolutely enjoyed my time. The flushing toilets and warm water from the sink were so nice to have, especially at night. Everything was super clean, and easy to access. Jason and Julie really have the guest experience figured out. They let you have your privacy, but if you run into them, they are very kind people. I will be back soon :)

The solitude and peace were exactly what we needed. It was very quiet and tranquil, the hosts were very kind and accommodating as well. I loved the trees and listening to the birds in the morning, and had a perfect view of the stars. Would highly recommend and can't wait to visit again!

Me and my husband loved the stay we had at Sunset Mountain , the campgrounds were beautiful, serene, and welcoming. Our host James was very accommodating and welcoming. The trail we walked was so peaceful and well maintained. The hot tub was beyond relaxing the jets gave the best massage. The bathroom was very clean. When we set up our tent the campsite was very clean normally I have to sweep an area for my tent but not here it was very nice how maintained the campgrounds were. We will definitely be back for more fun in the sun on beautiful Sunset Mountain!

Sunset Mountain is an exclusive reservation only 18+ clothing optional/nudist campground located on my working cattle farm. (Please do not drive up to our gate and try to get in. Located between America's First National River, the Buffalo River and the most unique town in the Ozarks, Eureka Springs, AR. Just 6 miles to the Kings River. Surrounded by hiking, mountain biking, floating, fishing and hunting. Built with an emphasis on using locally milled rough sawn timber, reclaimed materials and handmade details throughout. This is an off-grid glamping cabin. The parking area is just down the hill from the cabin. It's a short walk up to the cabin, you will need to across the foot bridge over the creek and up a few steps to the cabin. The terrain on the property could be muddy or loose at times. Always watch your footing. There is no running water, but there is an 8-gallon jug over the sink for drinking and washing. Extra water available for longer stays. Composting toilet outhouse behind the cabin. Compost toilet bucket is cleaned out after every guest. Propane hot water shower is only available in the warmer months (usually April through October). The cabin is powered by a small solar panel setup. Please do not plug in any personal devices. They could damage the electrical system or overwork it. USB charging dock for phones, laptops, etc. Good cell service with most providers. Basic LED lighting. Direct vent propane heater. Full size memory foam mattress with plenty of warm blankets. There is a two-burner propane cooktop and mini fridge. Bowls, plates, cups and silverware for two guests. Basic food prep items are also available. Round 2-person dining table looking out the big picture window. The creek will be running when there is sufficient rainfall. Guests have access to the designated trails.
